Recently, the IDCA has been in discussions with Ministry of Health officials and has decided to postpone its September 21, 2018, conference until Friday April 5, 2019, at the same location, Hazelton Manor, Vaughan.
The reason: the government is reviewing all programs and has not determined the direction and has not planned its implementation measures as yet. We expect changes as a result of the legislative and subsequent regulatory initiatives, however, the Premier’s new Committee on Improving Healthcare (which will work with the new Minister of Health and Long-term Care, Christine Elliott, and her Parliamentary Assistant responsible for health, Robin Martin), will significantly affect the information shared at our conference.
We hope you’ll keep the date of April 5, 2019, to learn first-hand how your operations may be affected. Currently enrolled delegates will be notified directly with their registration moved to the new date.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
